there is so much we are prepared to live for
what are we prepared to die for?

far more than art
imitates life”

The world is like a ride at an amusement park,
When you choose to go on it, you think that it’s real
Because that’s how powerful our minds are.
And the ride goes up and down and round and round.
It has thrills and chills, and it’s very brightly coloured,
And it’s very loud and it’s fun, for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time,
And they begin to question – is this real, or is this just a ride?
And other people have remembered, and they come back to us.
They say “Hey! Don’t worry, don’t be afraid, ever, because, this is just a ride.”
And we… we kill those people?
“Shut him up! We have a lot invested in this ride.
SHUT HIM UP!
Look at my furrows of worry.
Look at my big bank account and family.
This just has to be real.”It’s just a ride.

because I had no shoes,
until upon the street,
I met a man who had no feet”

It’s our stream of consciousness and our sense of time, our perceiving of night and day
Deracinate your tree of thought and
Reality melts away.
“The first time you watch the movie “Saw” you might be freaked out by the gruesome murders and torture. But if you watch it another hundred times […] it won’t bother you very much anymore. Over time, when we are exposed to [graphic sex and/or violence] we become desensitized to these ideas, and we are conditioned to stop reacting to them as strongly.”
Sleep, awaken, look at surroundings, befuddled,
Eat, ‘work’, get sick, eat, shit, mate, play, sleep, eat, vomit, sleep, shit, eat, fight, shit,
Sleep, start suffering from arthiritis, mope, eat, shit, die.
Okay, enough about people now, let’s talk about dogs…
